The platform fee is 15%, taken from each trip. There is no joining fee and no monthly fee.

Keep the phone in your pocket between fares. The app stays online in the background and alerts you when a trip comes in.

Allow the install

Android asks to allow installs from AlaGo. Turn it on, then tap the file again. The security scan can sit at “Installing…” for a minute — that is normal.

Sign in and add your details

Sign in with TickTap, then enter your plate and licence. Most drivers are approved straight away.

How the AlaGo Driver app works

One screen to go online, one list of trips, and a fare that is settled before you pick anyone up.
  • Go online: Trips near you appear in the list, along with bookings from your taxi company, and keep reaching you with the screen locked
  • Pick up your rider: Navigation takes you to the pickup point, with the rider's name on the trip
  • Drive to the drop-off: The fare was fixed when the trip was booked, so there is nothing to settle in the car
  • Get paid: Wallet fares reach your TickTap wallet once the rider confirms. Company trips are paid in cash in the car

There is no joining fee and no monthly fee. The platform fee is 15% of each fare. Trips dispatched by your taxi company are paid in cash in the car and carry no platform fee during the pilot.

Wallet trips are paid into your TickTap wallet as soon as the rider confirms the drop-off — you do not wait for a weekly payout. If the rider does not confirm, the trip is confirmed automatically 4 hours after drop-off and you are paid then. Trips dispatched by your taxi company are paid in cash in the car.
